We had a Boi-lly Good Time!

Yesterday was the second session of the pre-natal class by ParentCraft and C & I enjoyed the sessions so far with Mrs Wong Boi Boi. Mrs Wong is senior ParentCraft/Lactation Consultant and Head of ParentCraft Centre.

p.s - if you click to the above link, an image pops up and the lady in short hair is Mrs Wong Boi Boi herself.)

Being a fun-loving and hilarious lady herself, Mrs Wong made the 2 hours lessons seemed like a breeze and making sure we always remember the tips and tricks that she taught us in the previous session.

So far, we have learnt basic pre-natal exercises and she debunked some myths on pregancy dos and don'ts. We also touched on the topic of childbirth, the whole process and learnt relaxation and breathing techniques.

Well, both of us have been looking forward to Mrs Wong's class every saturday cos we are always granted a Boi-lly good time with her!

From Little One to Dr Tan

Dear Dr Tan,

It was great seeing you again last Saturday but personally, I hope both Mummy and I could spend more time with you on our visit. You had another emergency operation to do again this time and yeap (no prize for guessing), the whole meet up lasted only 10 solid minutes.

Mummy's weight gain is in control (by the way mummy's weight is currently at 53.3kg and she had put on almost 8kg so far =p) and I am once again slightly off track for my current weight gain. I am now 28 weeks old or theorectically, 7 months old. My ideal weight should be 2.5 lbs but I weighed 2.75lbs. You told mummy and daddy that there was nothing to worry about with regards to my weight. Whew! (Cos my daddy is worried sick that I will be too big for my mummy to push me out when it is time).

I am glad that you told mummy that she did not require to take any glucose test cos I heard from mummy's friend that she had to fast for 8 hours prior to the test. I am just concern that mummy's reserves are not enough to keep me full and happy. (Thank Goodness!)

Well, I hope to see you in one month's time and hopefully, this time round, the time with you will be much longer. Take care, Dr Tan and thank you for making sure mummy and I are both fine. =)

Mummy attended a friend's wedding on Saturday and she could not resist posing in a few shots of the cool tube dress that Popo Lulu bought for mummy! See how vain mummy is! =p

Everybody loves Kungfu Fighting! Hoo! Haa!

KUNGFU! That's Little Moo's favourite activity in my tummy! =)

His jabs, pokes and kicks were as fast as lightning and give me funny moments and twitches now and then! He rolls, somersaults (I think cos that was what the book wrote that the baby can do 1001 things in that constrained area in the tummy), jabs and wiggles.

Sometimes I love the surprises that he gives me by the sudden jerks that I experienced and but at times, it seems that he is squashing some parts of my tummy or some internal organs -Yikes! That was just my imagination but that was exactly how I felt when the jabs were not so pleasing.

Little Moo's kungfu times have a schedule:
  • Morning from 7-10am
  • Noon time
  • Evening from 5pm onwards
  • After 10pm

Well, if you do look carefully at his schedule, it coincides with feeding time. Heee, that is when breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper is being served. But C told me it was mommy who was hungry, not Moo! I told him this is called co-existence. Little Moo is currently 6 months old in my tummy now and this kungfu fighting will begin to occur more frequently.

Now I can really understand why some of my friends who have become mothers told me that they loved this stage of the pregnancy best as they get to feel the baby inside and well, I do have to agree that this feeling can be classified as "Time of My Life"!
